For the second year, expert designers Touch of Ginger has confirmed that it will be supplying the awards for the Major Events International Summit, which will take place on 12 and 13 October at the London Aquatics centre on the former 2012 Olympic Park.
Major Events International, the only global major events professional network, brings together experts from current and future organising committees and sports bodies, venues and key commercial suppliers involved in major sports events to knowledge share and network.
This growing community of experts will be joined by key stakeholders who are interested in sharing their future requirements and learning lessons of past events and projects.
The awards dinner, which will be held on the evening of 12 October, will celebrate the contributions of suppliers, experts and event organisers in the major event sphere.
At last year’s award ceremony where guests were joined by sports personalities such as cricketer, Graham Gooch and England rugby star Alex Goode, awardees received a specially designed baton from Touch of Ginger which was made to IAAF competition standards and provided the perfect symbol for the teamwork and trust necessary in this market.
Touch of Ginger has a growing list of impressive case studies including most recently the LEN European Aquatics Championships 2016 which reflects the unique design of London Aquatics centre where the championships will be taking place as of this week.
